2. Let's put the 'social' in social media
We’re happy to promote your facility through AQUASERV’s channels, and there are several ways we can do this:
Option 1: You share a post about your services, highlighting the possibility of accessing them through AQUASERV. We will then amplify your post through our channels.
Option 2: You send us images, and we create a dedicated post to showcase your facility on AQUASERV’s main channel. Note: This option will be used once we have a strong number of partners to highlight, but please do send us!
Option 3: You feature AQUASERV at events. If you plan to do so, let us know in advance, and we will share your participation through our channels. For detailed guidelines, please check the events section.
We want to show you off!
We post weekly. Social media is all about socialising, so if you could like or comment on our posts from time to time, your followers might see this action and help us reach more people.

Collaborating in events
Events are powerful opportunities to promote AQUASERV, so we kindly ask for your support in promoting AQUASERV whenever you attend an event where funded opportunities can be showcased to researchers. In return, we’re happy to share your event activities.
To help increase our visibility, we’ve prepared a few resources you can use when taking part in events.

Consider hosting a Guided Visit to stakeholders
A guided visit can help demonstrate local and regional impact by showcasing the facility’s unique services and its socio-economic contributions. It can also help build political support by creating direct relationships with policymakers and strengthening long-term institutional backing.
Guided visits are also an opportunity to put Transnational Access (TA) on the policy map. By seeing the facilities and research environment firsthand, policymakers can gain a better understanding of how AQUASERV enables international exchange among researchers.
How to organise a guided visit: AQUASERV guided visits can be integrated into existing events, such as an upcoming institutional event, facility launch or scientific meeting. The visit can be built around the facilities, European research collaboration through AQUASERV, and real experiences from TA user. The support communication team can help you!

What is shaping the future of aquatic research?
From marine and fre
shwater science to the research infrastructures supporting it, the first AQUASERV Conference will bring together research, expertise and experiences from across Europe.
Across 12–16 October, researchers from academia and industry will have the opportunity to explore recent work, hear from previous transnational access users and discover the role of research infrastructures in supporting European policies and the blue economy.
The conference is fully online, making it possible to follow the sessions most relevant to each research interest.
