Transnational Access Handbook 

This handbook is divided into two main sections:
 

  1. A general section on the TA programme, the application process and the reporting and follow-up procedures
     

  2. A list of all service-providing facilities. The appendix provides overview tables of the services provided at each facility and a glossary.

Data Management Plan Tutorial

All AQUASERV users are required to prepare a Data Management Plan (DMP) as part of their funded access. The DMP describes the types of data your research project will generate and how these will be managed to ensure they are FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). It should cover:

  • How data will be collected, stored, and preserved.

  • How and where data will be shared or published.

  • How metadata and standard formats will be used to make data understandable and reusable by others.

When to submit:

  1. A first version of the DMP must be completed before starting your access to the service.

  2. During access, the plan can be updated as needed throughout your project.

  3. A final version must be submitted after access, together with the activity report.

How to create your Data Management Plan:
To get started, register on the OpenAIRE Argos platform, if you have trouble registering follow this tutorial, below.

Then, complete the DMP template provided for AQUASERV users. You can then follow the step-by-step to make sure all requirements are covered.
