Why did you choose the service/institution you chose?

My goal was to enhance my proficiency in gene expression and immunology. The name of my project is: 'A sustainable new protein source and natural supplement for the diet of largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) in a recirculation aquaculture system'.

How did this access experience support your research?

I had a great experience at HAKI, and my colleagues were very supportive.

How does your project benefit society, industry, or policy?

My project strongly addresses the circular economy, bioeconomy, eco-friendly aquaculture, and farm-to-fork policy in Europe.

How did this experience mark your scientific career?

I had the opportunity to improve my skills in gene expression and immunology.
