On 29 May 2026, AQUASERV was presented during the AgriForward: Shaping the Future Open Day, held at the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II, Italy.

The event brought together researchers, students, institutional representatives, regional authorities, professional associations, and members of the public to explore research, innovation, and technology transfer activities developed through METROFOOD-IT, one of AQUASERV's partner research infrastructures.

As part of the programme, visitors were invited to tour the Laboratory of Multielement Analyses (LAM), a METROFOOD-IT facility that provides analytical services through AQUASERV. The guided visits introduced participants to the laboratory's research activities, specialised equipment, and the funded access opportunities available through the project.

The Open Day provided an opportunity to engage with a broad audience and highlight the role of research infrastructures in supporting innovation in agriculture, food systems, aquaculture, and the blue economy.
