On 11 June, AQUASERV held an info session dedicated to presenting the first challenge-driven transnational access call, which focused on Ecological Restoration.

As part of AQUASERV’s mission to align scientific research with European policy priorities, this targeted call invites proposals that support ecological restoration in marine and freshwater environments. Topics include biodiversity preservation, cumulative human stressors, adaptation strategies, and the role of Marine Protected Areas, among others.

The session explored how researchers can access integrated and customised research infrastructure services to address pressing ecological restoration goals in line with the EU policies. Participants gained insights into how to build strong proposals, the evaluation timeline, and were able to ask all their questions regarding our application process.

📅 Proposals for this Challenge-Driven Call are due by 22 August 2025 and will be evaluated in November 2025.
