On 6 March 2025, the Centre for Marine Sciences (CCMAR) organised a one-day event that brought together researchers, students, and key regional stakeholders to explore the centre’s scientific work and facilities.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to highlight AQUASERV and the broad range of research services it offers. The project was presented during the main session for stakeholders and researchers, followed by guided visits to CCMAR’s core facilities and technological platforms — several of which are included in the AQUASERV Service Catalogue.

The Open Day drew numerous distinguished guests and institutional representatives, reflecting CCMAR’s strong regional connections and its leading role in promoting innovation, sustainability, and the blue economy.

Among the attendees was a diverse group of municipal, academic, institutional, and media representatives, whose participation contributed to the success of the event. The day reinforced CCMAR’s partnerships and helped raise awareness of the research infrastructures and services made accessible through AQUASERV.
